In February 2004, EC were appointed to conduct field research on behalf of the DfES to investigate personalised learning with schools.

Education Connections visited 15 schools across the UK (identified for their exemplar practice in the field of ‘Personalised Learning') and held in-depth interviews with the Headteacher, pupils and parents, about the schools' journey into personalised learning. The research assessed the affects and outcomes for each school from different perspectives.
