Food and Drink Federation (FDF)

Child obesity is a worrying trend across the UK. With this in mind, FDF decided to talk directly to young people about healthy lifestyles. The aim was to promote healthy eating and physical activity through a series of activities.

Poster Competition

'Join the Activaters' promotes enjoyable healthy eating and physical activity for all Primary School pupils. EC were commissioned to create and produce a poster based competition that supported an existing Join the Activators CD-ROM and activities.

The competition required pupils to design a poster and entries were judged for their correct message conveyance to promote a healthy lifestyle as well as artistic merit. The winner was presented with a bike, £500 for the school, and £75 for the teacher.
