Encouraging confidence

Our education team, alongside our specialist partners, offer a training service to meet your needs and programme requirements.

Whether training staff to deliver activities in the classroom, or providing teacher training to encourage confidence in conveying the aims of your programme, we can develop and deliver the right training for your team or campaign.

Employee Training

Royal Navy – we developed and delivered a schedule of seminars for Royal Navy and Royal Marine Careers Officers to assist their understanding of the UK education system. The seminars also provided guidance on how to build relationships with schools and specific activities to undertake with pupils during school visits.

Dogs Trust –we provided training to help their Education Officers offer drama workshops for young children in schools. The officers required an understanding of how to maintain control of the session – but also wished to appropriately engage and motivate pupils, aiming to leave a legacy of empowerment and empathy when caring for dogs. We devised and delivered a workshop to build the necessary skills and confidence – which has proved very successful. These drama workshops are now very popular and continue to be delivered by Dogs Trust Education Officers throughout the UK.

Teacher training

E-ON – having created the highly successful Plugin2engineering project, we made the recommendation to make the best of the programme’s aims by complementing this comprehensive and impressive programme, by offering training to teachers to aid their understanding and delivery of the project’s classroom science kits. We devised and delivered training sessions with the partner schools involved in the programme, ensuring that the teachers had a full understanding of how the kits were to be used in the classroom and students were able to successfully interact with the resource.
