Southern Water want to inform the public about SW as a business, provide them with an insight into the Water industry, and enhance the reputation of SW as a reliable and trustworthy supplier. For this reason, a talks programme and a range of curriculum resources have been developed.
WaterWise Community Group/ Schools Talks Programme
Trained employees deliver talks to schools, clubs, societies and associations. The talk is designed to be adapted to suit different audiences and utilises a DVD, slide show, artefacts and quiz. EC is responsible for the development, management and administration of the talks programme. Over 200 community groups and 70 schools book talks each year.
Educational resources
Water Wise (KS2) and Water Wise extension materials (KS2) encourages young people to be water efficient whilst supporting History, Geography, Design & Technology, English, Science and ICT.
